NOBARTV NEWS Arhan moves clubs, Pratama Arhan's togetherness with South Korean League club Suwon FC has officially ended. The player now has the status of a new player for Thai club Bangkok United FC.
Indonesian National Team player Pratama Arhan is now a new Bangkok United player. Before defending the Thai club, Arhan had defended two different clubs, Tokyo Verdy and Suwon FC.
Arhan defended Verdy since the club was still playing in the second tier of the Japanese League, aka J2 League. Unfortunately, when the club was promoted to the J1 League, Arhan changed clubs.
After parting ways with Verdy, Arhan defended a neighboring club, Suwon FC in the South Korean League. The difference is, this club already has status and plays in its highest caste, K League 1. But unfortunately, just like in his previous club, Arhan's fate with Suwon FC did not improve. In these two clubs, Arhan was rarely played. In fact, with Suwon, he only appeared in two matches during one season.
However, while defending these two clubs, Arhan always received calls to strengthen the Garuda squad. Most recently, he became one of the mainstays of the Indonesian National Team in the 2024 AFF Cup. In that event, Arhan et al only finished in third place in the final standings of Group B, making them fail to advance to the semifinals.
But the good news is that at the beginning of this year, the former PSIS Semarang player finally got a new club. A club from Thailand called Bangkok United officially tied the Indonesian National Team full-back. In several pictures circulating on the internet, his wife Azizah Salsha accompanied him.
With Arhan joining Bangkok United, this will make the club his fourth club. In particular, Bangkok United is also his third club abroad.
"Bismillah," wrote Pratama Arhan on his social media account while displaying his introductory photo.
In the Thai League itself, there is another Indonesian National Team player, Asnawi Mangkualam Bahar. Asnawi is listed as a Port FC player and he is even a core squad at his club. Some time ago, Asnawi extended his contract with his club. And most likely, Asnawi will duel with Arhan for the first time with his status as a foreign player abroad.
This moment (duel) has also been awaited by Asnawi himself. In Arhan's upload, Asnawi wrote his comments.
"See you on the field," said Asnawi.
